A self-taught artist who has worked in a variety of mediums throughout his life, Bryan now focuses on oil painting, which he feels is the most versatile an expressive. He began developing his artistic skills at an early age, drawing in pencil or pen and ink and later moving on to painting.

A lifelong resident of Bucks County, he grew up in Solebury, surrounded by the unique scenery that is represented in much of his work. Although he prefers to paint local views of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties, he is always looking for good subjects wherever he goes. He currently lives in Chalfont, Pennsylvania.

A wide range of influences can be seen in his work; he feels equally comfortable painting in a loose impressionist style or creating something with a higher degree of realistic detail, depending on the subject.

In addition to painting, he has worked in graphic design for the past 17 years and has also done some illustration. He exhibits regularly in area shows.
