Tatiana Alexeeva was born in a village near Cheboksary, a city in central Russia on the Volga River.

Tatiana's education includes graduating from the Vladimir Institute of Art, located in the city of Vladimir. She was encouraged at an early age by her parents to draw and develop her natural artistic talent. As a school girl she enjoyed painting scenes of Russian peasants and their village life. Her love for beautiful country scenes is reflected in her paintings.

While attending high school, she was judged the most outstanding art student for two and a half years. Her first job as an artist was teaching arts and crafts to specially selected and talented young people in a state run school.

Her paintings illustrate two distinct styles which are realism and impressionism. These two styles are particularly evident in her country scenes. Tatiana recently won "Best of Show" at the 58th Annual Tinicum Arts Festival, highlighting the appreciation that the local art community feels toward her style and work.

Tatiana's love of nature and beautiful scenery led her to study and paint. She quite enjoys the Bucks County sunsets, lovely flowers and friendly people. She is currently busy painting her picturesque surroundings in still life and landscape.
